CUTTING STICKS
RED-PVC: Commonly used on Polars' as a Squiggle Shaped Flat Stick. Square or Flat PVC commonly used on Wohlenberg guillotines and 3Knive Trimmers.
SOFT WHITE or GREEN HDPE: Soft Stick commonly used for Challenge Lawson.
WHITE NYLON: Dense Properties,common shapes are Square, Champhered, Flat Stick used commonly on Wohlenberg 3Knife and Guillotines Trimmers, Kolbus, Muller Martini. Does not dent easily. Requires much less knife adjustment during the course of its usefullness.
P.P. GREY or P.P. SALMON RED: Polypropylene Sticks. Softer than Red PVC and harder than HDPE. A medium density Stick. Abrasion resistant and easy on knife tips.

Nylon Sticks can save you money!! They require less operator intervention in between knife changes,
Regular plastic sticks require frequent operator knife adjustments=time lost which=money lost which=lost production and more frequent knife changes. More frequent knife changes=time & money lost!!!!!!!
Nylon sticks are harder and don't dent as easily. The harder stick reduces the need for frequent stick rotations and or blade adjustments. This helps prevent premature dulling of the knife. Thus a longer lasting sharp edge on the knife, this results in better cutting quality! Less frequent sharpenings for the knife this= longer knife life, this saves you money in the long run as well as the short run!!!!!!
